چکیده

Background: Frozen shoulder refers to a common condition characterized by general limitation of range motion in the capsule model. The capsular pattern is greatest passive lateral rotation and abduction. Physiotherapy most important part conservative treatment frozen shoulder. Aim: To find role Maitland mobilization technique with Mulligan’s techniques its possible effects early gaining ROM pain management. Methods: This was comparative study conducted at Department Physical Therapy Orthopedic Surgery I, King Edward Medical College/Mayo Hospital, Lahore. Subjects were conveniently divided into her two groups, each group containing 40 patients. In A, patients treated manipulative therapy. B, mulligan movement techniques. Patients both groups followed for up 6 weeks improvements motor parameters recorded patient's follow-up visit. SPSS used data entry analysis. Result: A total 50 participated this study. mean age 46.23 years B 45.23 onset disease weeks, 11 10 2 12-year intervals. had an duration 12 weeks. Abduction observed be significantly improved Mulligan method compared those method. Practical implication: More specifically, will focused on examining active ROMs reduction before after treatment. All measured characteristics FS subjects asymptomatic shoulders. Conclusion: comparison technique, more effective management Keywords: Adhesive capsulitis /Frozen shoulder, technique.

Comparison of Therapeutic Effectiveness Between Shoulder Distention Arthrography With Translation Mobilization and Distention Arthrography Alone in Patients With Frozen Shoulder

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of distention arthrography (DA) alone and in combination with translational mobilization (TM) for treatment of patients with frozen shoulder (FS). Methods Eighty-five patients diagnosed with unilateral FS (freezing or frozen stage) were included. Forty-one patients were treated with DA and TM (group 1) and 44 patients with DA alone (group 2). Clinical assess...

[Purpose] The aim of this study was to determine the synergistic effect of intensive mobilization techniques combined with capsular distension for patients with adhesive capsulitis (AC). [Subjects] The subjects were 53 patients with AC (mean age, 56.0 ± 7.6 years). [Methods] Patients were randomized to one of four treatment groups: intensive mobilization after one steroid injection with capsula...
